I have noticed that my blog traffic tanks on Friday. And it's not just on this blog. The traffic on my real blog, Beauty of the Bible, will dip dramatically from Thursday to Friday. For example, Beauty of the Bible had 143 readers yesterday and only 42 so far today. This is every Friday.

I have also noticed that my Google Reader reading load is a lot lighter on Fridays, too, which means bloggers aren't blogging. I realize people check out of work early on Friday, mentally if not physically. But, this doesn't explain such a dramatic shift. You would think bloggers would be blogging more on Friday. Not so.

So, what accounts for this drastic change in behavior? I have figured it out.
