I am proud to live in the wind-energy capital of the world, also known as Sweetwater, Texas. For miles and miles in every direction, you can drive the highways and be dazzled by enormous white wind turbines. They are quite majestic in their own way.
When it's dark, you can see hundreds if not thousands of twinkling red lights in the sky warning prospective airborne passers-by. However, such enormous pillars of energy production are not without certain hazards...
My sister-in-law alerted me to one such hazard:
